Just turn off the "suck bit" and you'll be fine:
bin/setenv.sh:
export CATALINA_OPTS="${CATALINA_OPTS} -Dapplication.suck=false"
export CATALINA_OPTS="${CATALINA_OPTS} -Djava.lang.gofast=true"
bin/startup.sh and you are ready to roll.
