Still at it I see! :) Would you mind clearing and inspecting all logs very closely after reboot?
Maybe it would also be useful to undeploy, capture logs, and diff them (never tried that, seemed like a good idea)? Sometimes it's a single word in the log file that triggers the solution, and doing diligent inspection of the logs after each change is a good idea to avoid compounding variables.
