Hmmmm... mod_jk seems to be working really better now. I could see the access
log defined in my <Valve> element under <Host> element. However, when I invoke
the URL of the domain, www.domain1.com I'm still being pointed to directory
tree and not the application. The first suggestion of making an index rediect
to the app is ok, but my boss wouldn't agree. In the error_log it says
something like
[Fri Aug 4 16:58:18 2006] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] File does not
exist:/home/theapp/public_html/index.jsp
[Fri Aug 4 16:58:18 2006] [error] [client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] File does not
exist:/home/theapp/public_html/404.shtml
