In looking at your config, I see that the word "type" is spelled "typw" Was this copied directly from your actual config file? worker.worker1.typw=ajp13

Options Indexes MultiViews AllowOverride None Order deny,allow Allow from 192.168.1 Allow from 127.0.0.1 This sets directory access, since the Tomcat webapps directory is outside my document root.
