so if you to start off in context.xml with a path specification
<Context path="/urlPath ...>
later on in web.xml you have defined the servlet-mapping as
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>urlPath</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/servlet/urlPath</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
you would access the servlet with
http://MachineName:Port/WebApp/servlet/UrlPath
