Hello, I'm running tomcat 5.5 on windows xp. I'm trying to configure tomcat to direct external url connections via our proxy. When I specify the settings in the JAVA_OPTS environment variable, and run tomcat from the command line, the connection can be made properly. However when I use tomcat5w.exe to configure the service options on the Java tab, and then run tomcat as a service, it doesn't use the proxy settings I specify. my "Java Options:" entry is as follows: -Dcatalina.base=C:\apache-tomcat-intranet -Dcatalina.home=C:\apache-tomcat-intranet -Djava.endorsed.dirs=C:\apache-tomcat-intranet\common\endorsed -Djava.io.tmpdir=C:\apache-tomcat-intranet\temp -Ddeployment.proxy.http.host=proxy -Ddeployment.proxy.http.port=8080 -Ddeployment.proxy.bypass.local=true -Ddeployment.proxy.same=true Thanks for any suggestions.
