ya it is possible coz i have AMD 64 bit processor windows 2003 as operating system and i can run Tomcat 5.5 as a service and as a 64 bit application

I have also tried to follow the instructions here: http://www.nabble.com/Mini- HOW-TO%3A-Tomcat-as-a-service-on-Windows-Server-2003-64-bit-edition- tf1735687.html#a4716292 as well, but I haven't got the knowledge to Recompile 'procrun' on my the server as per the instructions. Does anybody have an idea on how to get the tomcat service to work for me? Is there a tomcat5.exe available for intel 64 bit somwhere for download perhaps? Any help would be most appreciated!
