Hi! I hade some similar strange problems when I had a very old xml jars. (like xml-api.jar etc)

Why would only some of the <c: tags throw exceptions, and not all of the <c: tags. Now, to rule out the possibility of syntax errors in my source, I copy/pasted a complete JSP example from Sun's own website, which ostensibly should work. Even with Sun Microsystem's own JSPs, these conditional <c: tags throw the weird Jasper exception.
