BTW Johnny,
I meant to ask you in my reply,
are there any drawbacks that you are aware of
having Tomcat start and run as a service ?
ie: majorly long boot-up times or anything
like that.

I have'nt tried it yet.. since going into the MMC
and switching it to auto..
