Good advice ..
the version of msvcrt.dll in JAVA 5
located at %JAVA_HOME%\jre\bin\msvcrt.dll
is 6.00.8337.0
Using any other dll in JAVA or in the %PATH% would in all probability cause
incongruent behaviour for the java binaries
