Ive noticed if the Wrong version of Servlet<-api>.jar is loaded into WEB-INF/lib I'll see "Servlet Spec 2.3 Error" AND "offending class is ..HttpServlet.class"
taking Servlet<-api>.jar out of WEB-INF/lib fixes the error I *thought* TC Classloader looked in server/lib then ONLY if correct version jar is not found then look in common/lib then ONLY if correct version jar is not found then lastly WEB-INF/lib for the jar? Is this not the case?
