in eclipse it's also possible to set file-associations. to figure out how it actually works, you might want to ask in the (approriate) eclipse mailinglist

Hi,

In a recent email, I asked how to make Eclipse treat html files and jsp files. In other words, I want to give my jsp files extension html.

I following the advice going to Window->Pref->Gen->Editors->Files Associations.

But it had no effect. Even when I right-click on the file and choose Open With -> JSP Editor I don't get a JSP aware environment. I use the WST package version 3.0.0 (Eclipse version 3.4.0)

Thanks,

Dola
