Listers: We have some issues with one application published over Tomcat 5.5.15 during our troubleshooting we had seen the next errors / messages, and we like to know more about them:
- We have reached the max number proxies in the pool; wait for one to become available for thread Tid_84 for server dellopas:22000 - The thread Tid_84 for server dellopas:22000, which was waiting for the available proxy, got one proxy ==>For this case we need to know exactly what does "proxy" means for tomcat. Exception in thread "Thread-2" Exception in thread "Thread-1" java.lang.NullPointerException == > For this case we don't know how does this error refers we see frequently on the catalina.out file but if we see for errors or any warning message on the app log, we did not find anything. A brief description; We have a load balancer configured for a high persistance environment with an application from BMC (ARS and Mid Tier, 3 servers for each one) and the issues more repeated with our problem are: * Tomcat starts to slow down until the point which we need to restart the web server (tomcat is configured with almost 3 GB of RAM and the maz threads are set to 500, the server has 16GB of RAM) * We are seeing the messages described above, but we couldn't figure out why they appear Any help is appreciate.
