There are "hacks" and "use that other web server" approaches, but at the end I'm seeing more and more people are requesting those features. Simply, there is a (set of) very good reason(s) why Apache Httpd runs inside multiple child processes. Since from ground up it offered a descent app isolation this was (IMHO) it's major reason for a success. Now that Android finally broke that JNI paranoia, people are start looking at something outside that given JVM box.
