I see that MSDN says about Winsock error 87:
WSA_INVALID_PARAMETER - 87
One or more parameters are invalid.
An application used a Windows Sockets function which directly maps to a
Windows function. The Windows function is indicating a problem with one or more
parameters. Note that this error is returned by the operating system, so the
error number may change in future releases of Windows.
So I guess the 87 errors correspond to the 1229 errors (when the connection is
invalid).
