Basically karafee as openejb installable in karaf is moving over karaf project. I didnt try last release but i really doubt it works without hacking since a bunch of fixes were not included.
DynamicMBeanWrapper is the class getting the hack we are talking about IIRC but code changed enough to make it hard to merge. JB should give a better answer i think being involved in karaf directly.
