Attached is an example ear that demonstrates the problem. Source code is included in the ear.
I discovered that the problem only occurs when I have a second web application and a META-INF/application.xml file in the ear as well. Unfortunately, I need the application.xml file to specify the context-root of one of the web applications, since I cannot use the war file name as the context-root and I have found no other way to specify the context-root for an EJB Transport module (needed for remote EJB access since we don't deploy tomee.war).
