I think I may have found the answer to this out: If there are any issues
accessing your raw disks, ATS will log this to traffic.out. In my case it
looks like this:

Subject: How to check storage in traffic server.
Hello Folks,
Is there anyway within the traffic server app to check if raw disks are
actually viewable/usable by the application? I have tried looking at the
show:cache-stats in the shell and I am definitely not seeing the cache size
that I anticipated however I was hoping there was a more direct way to see
available storage.
