Seeing an odd issue on the new Ubuntu 14.04 boxes we're loading with Traffic Server 4.2.1.1. The [ET_NET 0] process runs consistently at 6-18% CPU utilization with no traffic being processed. The exact % depends on the CPU speed (e.g. a 2.1 GHz 8-core box runs at 18%, a 2.93GHz 8-core runs at 6%).
For comparison a 2-core 2.0GHz old Opteron box with a moderate load is running 0-5% CPU...but it's running Ubuntu 10.04. Not sure how to track down the cause because the logs are quiet. -J
