Hello-

I am plugging away at this box in my spare time and I
have an issue with the way vegadns creates the SOA. I have used tinydns
in the past and have created my records by hand but I am adding the gui
for someone else that does not know CLI and I am trying to accommodate
this person so that they do not have to log in.

An example SOA for this is:

+dreadlock.phreakout.net:24.75.44.213:3600
Zphreakout.net:name1.highpowerdns.com:support.DOMAIN::16384:2048:1048576:2560:2560

When I do a dnsq a dreadlock.phreakout.net 24.75.44.216   I get nothing.

If I add:

.phreakout.net::name1.highpowerdns.com

then it starts responding to my requests to this domain. Is this broken
or am I missing something? Like I said I have done it a certain way in
the past by editing the data file directly and adding the SOA and the NS
records separately and not using the Z like vegadns is doing.

Please help me find a solution so that dns can be solely administered
via port 80.

thanks,
Bob

btw, I am running v0.9.9.1 vegadns on FreeBSD5.4
