also, demos come in many fashions, the starter demo for an eclipse user differs from a netbeans user and differs from a maven user or notepad/vi/command line user
various demos to serve various build or IDE enviroment. it may not be helpful when a maven only developer is trying to show a NB only developer how to write a demo in wicket or otherwise.
