Hi, Maybe you should take a look at jqTouch (http://www.jqtouch.com/) which is a jQuery plugin dedicated to use rich effects of safari on iPhone.
You might want to use wiQuery (http://code.google.com/p/wiquery) ton bind this jQuery plugin with your wicket application.
