Hmmm, curious. Not sure what you mean exactly by the mask, but on one of my apps, there are three date pickers in a Panel. This also has a ModalWindow that pops up over that panel. I just tried it and do not experience any problems. I even left the DatePicker calendar open and then opened and closed the modal.
