Not sure how i can check this? But i don't think so because i have a little test class which generates the picture through AWT. When i ran this class as a java application from inside Eclipse, then the image is created fine. Just when it runs in the context of the jetty server it fails. By the way. The problematic method is the BufferedImage#createGraphics(). on this Method the jvm hangs.
