Hi there ! I had a look at the future Wicket 8 and I saw that the servlet 3.1 was the target. So I looked a little bit at the code and I didn't see anything about async IO usage. I was looking for some code that looks like the recommended one by Oracle (http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/java/HTML5andServlet31/HTML5andServlet%203.1.html)
