By design. You're editing so you have to either save or cancel.  
Navigating away is not a good solution since you keep a lock on the  
document and you haven't saved the page's modification and thus it is  
lost.

it's called the breadcrumb ;)

One simple solution would be to create a link in the title of the  
shown page. For example for show code the title is "Wiki code of <page  
name>" and for history it's "History of <page name>". We would just  
need a link on <page name>.
