I like the idea of Draft support, it could be a state of the xwiki doc lifecycle. Or maybe we could provide two save action in the edit mode: 1) save minor update, which will not generate a new version, and ask the user to input a comment. 2) save & new version, which will generate a new version.
and the "auto save" will use the "save minor update" action by default. Anyway, is there a setting for having minor edits enabled by default now?
