Position : BI/DW Technical Lead
Location : Thousand Oaks, CA Duration : 6+ months Rate : DOE A technical lead has hand-on experience in all aspects of BI/DW development. The background of this individual should include experience in: * Gathering user requirements for BI-specific projects. This includes conducting small user requirements discussions or team-based JAD activities * Development of a logical data model and data dictionary documentation * Physical database design in 2 or more DBMS platforms. This would include table layout, index selection, data type selection, etc. * Data integration design and development and hands-on experience with at least 1 ETL tool * Developing end user analysis or reporting applications using at least 1 or more end user reporting tools (e.g. Business Objects, Brio, Cognos, etc.) * Communicating with both business and technical staff members in a manner that integrates business and project issues in an understandable language. Must be strong in both verbal and written communications.
