Hi , Title : Senior Level Network Engineer - Location : Fort Worth, TX Duration : 6 Months
Looking for someone that is at a CCNP/CCIE level or higher. Certification is not necessary. This position is NOT hands on and candidates must be comfortable with that. They will be going into an environment with little documentation and they will be basically a liaison between the technical teams and the out sourced companies. Great organizational and communication skills are a must. • Establish processes to test applications and devices before planned network deployment to quantify their performance and recommend steps to ensure they are optimized. • Administer and manage caching and content engines (video media) and set direction for their use in the network. • Educate and establish repeatable processes with our vendors for diagnosing network and application performance to minimize escalations. • Create and publish an executive level report on application and network performance. • Set direction and evangelize the use of network probes, robots, and application certification (e.g. CompuWare) throughout the company. • Translate business needs into actionable vendor deliverables, managing small internal data network projects. • Work in conjunction with Network Architects to troubleshoot and/or implement future or existing network architectures. Required : BGP, EIGRP, STP, VTP and communication.
