Location: Houston, TX Duration: Long-term contract (10 + months) Start date: 1/12 or 1/19 Interview: candidates need to be able to travel to Houston ASAP to interview if they are not local at AV's expense Candidates need to be well rounded and be able to do the development role and also spit out codes and be able to do architecture work when needed (candidate needs to have the ability to think outside the box). Must have at least 3-4 years in an oracle enterprise database environments and any experience with Tidal software or AS400 would be beneficial. Soft Skills Able to work independently and with team members (brainstorming, team building activities, etc) Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisor and management, using clear, user-friendly terminology (email, phone, meetings) Ability to learn and adhere to department standards for design, development and quality control Ability to self-manage time and task priorities to meet project timelines, and identify potential project risks Ability to recognize the need for improvement in existing processes /applications and present via solutions to the team Able to handle multiple work related tasks Able to take ownership and follow through with tasks until completion The ability to work on projects and maintenance tasks Technical Skills 4+ years in Oracle development, preferably in a large enterprise database environment 2+ years Informatica experience creating mappings/processes.
