*DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES – Storage Specialist*

Subcontractor will have exclusive control over the means, method and details
of fulfilling Subcontractor’s obligations hereunder including sole
responsibility for managing the delivery of all Services & Deliverables
delivered hereunder.

a.      Subcontractor will provide the following services (collectively, the
"Services"):

The subcontractor will be engaged in the role of a Storage Engineer with
primary responsibility for all aspects of storage and fabric administration
and support. Additional responsibilities related to backup systems, NAS and
disaster recovery procedures as it relates to the storage (data protection)
environments.  The position requires working independently in a team-based
environment to meet prescribed goals and objectives.

b.      Subcontractor will provide personnel with the following
qualifications and skills to perform the Services:

*1.       *Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent on the job
experience.

*2.       *Good written and verbal communication skills

*3.       *Superior interpersonal communication and customer service skills
are needed in order to work successfully with customers in high-stress and
or ambiguous situations

   1. Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to
   utilize them in a customer-facing environment
   2. Ability to follow standard and predefined customer engineering
   principles, procedures and practices
   3. Creative approach to problem solving and thinking.

*7.       *Minimum of 5 years of experience in a *storage and fabric
environment*, preferably in an enterprise systems environment *with
Microsoft Windows, Linux and IBM AIX.***

*8.       *Minimum of 3-5 year(s) of “Hand on” experience with storage
fabric technologies, with an emphasis on *HP storage (XP, EVA, MSL),* Cisco
MDS Fabric; IBM storage (ESS,DS, NS NAS series)

*9.       *Working knowledge of other data backup/replication and data
protection principles and business interactions and dependencies (RTO, RPO)

*10.   *Systems monitoring and management experience required

*11.   *Understanding of ITIL methodology

*1.       DESCRIPTION OF DELIVERABLES*

a.      List of Deliverables.  Subcontractor will provide the Services
described in Section 3. to develop and deliver the following deliverables
(collectively, the “Deliverables”):

   1. Researches customer issues in a timely manner and follows up directly
   with the customer with recommendations and action plans.
   2. Escalates cases to other more senior Technical Support Engineers
   and/or Escalation Engineers when the problem is too complex or falls outside
   of specific area of expertise.
   3. Leverages internal technical expertise, including higher-level
   engineers, knowledge base, and other internal tools, to provide the most
   effective solutions to customer issues.
   4. Collaborates with other Service Delivery Support Engineers who may
   need assistance working a case; utilizes area of expertise in order to most
   quickly facilitate solutions for the customer.
   5. Participates in technical communications within the Service Delivery
   team to share Best Practices and learn about new technologies and
   complimentary storage applications.
   6. Provide Support for Client Server team as needed. Duties including
   patches, upgrades, and systems support for troubleshooting of development,
   testing, and production storage environments.
   7. Help with the administration, performance tuning, monitoring, capacity
   planning, integration and maintenance of storage and fabric systems. (LUN
   allocation, fabric zoning, etc.)
   8. Design, development and implementation of new standards, procedures
   and processes related to backup technology as requested by management
   9. Mentor the existing team on best practices in the area of data
   protection and storage best practices.
   10. Help maintain the new storage and fabric solution and create a
   support manual that covers: Break-fix, implementation, monitoring and
   support of the new environment.
   11. Manage and optimize the enterprise monitoring system to maintain a
   proactive approach to systems management and a consistently high level of
   uptime

*2.       HOURS OF COVERAGE*

Services are delivered on a 5 day 8 hour a day schedule

*5.1         On-Call Support  *
*On-Call*: available to respond to support issues during all times outside
the core work/office hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 37.5 hours per week.
On-call support hours are shared within the team on a rotating basis, with
hand-off occurring every Friday morning.
