Job Description: The Application Support group resolves recurring production 
issues and identifies enhancements in order to improve stability and 
functionality of all applications and support the needs of the customers that 
use them. Application Support will handle tickets and issues that are escalated 
from the Help Desk. They will work with other teams and vendors to quickly 
resolve customer-impacting issues. If the issue cannot be resolved, the issue 
is escalated. 
 
Skills Required:
 

Min. 3-5 years in IT 
 BS/BA in Computer Science, IT or equivalent field 
Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003, XP and general desktop support issues 
Microsoft Windows Server (2000/2003), IIS 6.0+, and SQL Server 2000/2005 
Knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on Word , Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio 
Experience with Unix operating system (HP UX and Sun Solaris) including shell 
scripting 
Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases 
SQL knowledge including query and script writing experience 
Proven knowledge of Microsoft .NET software development 
Experience in supporting Java/J2EE applications 
Experience in administering BEA Weblogic8.1+, JBoss, Apache, Tomcat
