Position: SANS Admin/Engineer Position ID: 200568 Location: Baltimore, MD Duration: 6 Month Job skills and requirements: o Experience in developing and implementing tiered storage management strategies for large, complex Unix and Windows-based data and file systems o Proven track record and experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining functional backup and archival strategies for large, complex environments o Experience in developing, planning, and executing a methodology in which specific project-related data can be easily identified and partitioned in support of the implementation of a chargeback system within a SAN-based environment o Experience with EMC Symmetric SANs and related or similar hardware/software o Experience with Backup Exec for Windows, NetBackup for Unix, Enterprise Vault archiving software, and comparable products o Ability to research and identify enterprise-level storage management recommendations and solutions to complex configuration challenges o Ability to work independently as well as with others in a team environment o Ability to effectively multitask o Ability to adapt well to change Additional requirements: · Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or similar · Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
