IT Technical Project Manager Location: Sunnyvale,CA Duration: 6 months Job Summary Job Summary: Reporting to Sr Manager, IT, the Technical Project Manager will be a part of a team of IT professionals responsible for the support of global HR organization. This position will lead the implementation of release management, Kintana, Perforce, and HP BAC. Essential Functions: The Technical Project Manager will develop release management process including integrated test environment standard, policy and scheduling, formalize release cutover plans and lead implementation of projects. This position requires a strong foundation and expertise in HR business processes, experience in developing customer facing web applications and strong background in developing the Java technology stack. The individual will provide for business analysis, create technical project plan, technical design for HR applications. Experience in Enterprise application (Siebel/Oracle/SAP/JDE/PeopleSoft) cutover is required. Responsibilities The role is responsible for understanding the business context of requirements to evaluate technology, process and solutions. Develop the technical project plan and manage the development process. Provide technical analysis and recommendations. Create and contribute to design including overall system design, data model, high level and detailed designs. Coordinate and manage the cross functional dependencies and design the integration. Assess the impact of change requests and recommend implementation options. Conduct testing( e.g. system, integration and regression testing), review test plans and provide UAT support. Knowledge transfer to support teams, provide relevant documentation and provide post production support. Job Requirements: -Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects. -Experience with Enterprise application cutover is a must -Strong project management skills is required. -Experience in Java Development (J2EE, JavaScript), LDAP and Web developments (HTTP, HTTPS, JMS etc) is helpful -Experience with Kintana, HP BAC and Perforce is a big plus -Experience with Oracle database, SQL, PL/SQL is helpful.
