Dear Partners, Immediate need: TERADATA ARCHITECT Location: Portland, OR Duration: 6+ months Skills: ? -Strong working experience in a Teradata environment using TD12 -Strong working experience using Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump) -Good hands on experience using Teradata Tools (SQL Assistant, PMON, Teradata Administrator) -Experience with creating tables, views, UPI, NUPI, USI and NUSI -Good experience on query optimization (explain plans, collect statistics, Primary and Secondary indexes) -Should be able to write Teradata BTEQ scripts to implement business logic -Good working knowledge of Informatica and Cognos -Very Good communication skills Good to have but not required: - has working background using modeling tools (ERWIN) -has good hands on experience using Teradata Manager -knowledge of Autosys (batch scheduling tool) - R/3 or BW background
