Position Description

The Sr. Network Engineer will join the Operations teams that are supporting our global, mission critical transaction services network. This will involve supporting extensive LAN and WAN networks centered around our co-location datacenters that are located across three continents. Duties include, but are not limited to: troubleshooting, support, monitoring, security, documentation, equipment configuration, performance and ensuring the highest availability of our sophisticated switched, multi-platform / multi-protocol LAN/WAN networks.

Requirements



7+ years industry experience as a Senior Network Engineer



Senior level support and management skills of Cisco routers, switches and IOS platform



Extensive Understanding of BGP, EIGRP, VPN IPSEC and GRE protocols.



Experience with Ethernet, Fast/Gigabit Ethernet, Frame Relay, T1, T3, ISDN and X.25.



Supporting and configuring F5 Big-IP Load Balancers experience is required.



Knowledge of, and adherence to, structured change management processes is required.



Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows 7 Operating systems specially in respect to networking



Demonstrated ability to support a 4-nines or better environment



Experience in an e-commerce Internet-based business



Experience working on a team environment with Developers/SAs/DBAs/etc.



Able to be on call, and work nights and weekends, as needed



Prior experience leading and managing projects is a plus



Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or business discipline



CCIE or CCNP certificates preferred
