The Senior Oracle developer is a pivotal role in developing new software services. As one of the core developers, you will be responsible for design, development, and implementation of the new platform capabilities and features. As a Senior Oracle Developer, this role is responsible for: •Leads small, intermediate and large size projects. •Formulates/defines specifications, logical and physical data models •Develops custom applications and modifies existing applications to meet distinct and changing business requirements. •Handles the systems development life cycle on large size development and enhancement projects. •Assists with project planning, project definition, requirements definition, analysis, design, testing, system documentation and user training. •Handles coding, debugging and documentation. •Supports the QA group in developing test plans and test scripts. •Provide post-implementation and on-going production support as an on- call programmer. Candidates must have demonstrated excellent oral/written communication skills, and interpersonal skills to support interaction with internal customers, team members, and internal management. The candidate must have demonstrated an ability to work in a fast paced / dynamic team environment and possess time management skills to meet schedules. Technical Requirements: -Oracle development experience (PL/SQL, reports, performance tuning). •Experience working with large relational databases. •Experience with Oracle 11g on a RAC •Experience with Oracle Advance Queues •Ability to build highly available, scalable and performing database interfaces. Education & Experience Requirements: •8-10 years development experience. •Bachelors Degree required. MULTIPLE POSITIONS ARE OPEN - ALL ARE LOCATED IN ST. PETERSBURG, FLORIDA.
