Looking for a lead Informatica developer/architect who will combine technical expertise with proven understanding of financial systems to produce a reporting solution for the Repo IT team. The candidate will partner with team members responsible for Business Objects and Oracle to architect and create a framework for reporting, dashboards, delivery (distribution), scheduling and retention policy for reports. - Develop, test and maintain interfaces between Repo IT’s applications and other entities. - Work with business analysts to understand user requirements - Adhere to software development standards, procedures and techniques - Ability to participate and represent the development function in the development and project lifecycles *Experience-* 10 or more years in design and development of `extract-transform-load` (ETL) jobs using Informatica. Used version 8.0 Power Center, Metadata Manager, Data Explorer and other modules. Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, concepts and methods. Expert in design and development of Informatica ETL jobs for data warehouse, operational data store (ODS) and dimensional models. Good knowledge of Oracle database, SQL and PL/SQL. Experience in configuration management, version control, mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows. Must be able to read and write data from/to Oracle queues Experience with financial services and/or investment banking Experience in creating mappings for real time data movement, web services and batch. Experience in performance tuning, unit testing Understand source and Client data structures. Desired: Web service and XML transformation.
