GIS Consultant Place: Las Vegas Contract: 2 Year Rate: Open! Interview:Phone The position will include: interfacing with the Engineering Staff to take their conceptual ideas involving linear Geographic Information System (GIS) data and relay it in an application to be used in various forms including mapping overlays, use data from multiple sources for risk analysis, identify and evaluate if data meets mandated compliance and regulations and use data to process the everyday functions for Other projects will include the start of a company wide Data Integration project and a Common Data Viewer that will combine odor complaints, vehicle locations and facilities on one map. Development of new applications and enhancements to existing applications will be the main tasks.
