*Sr. Network Engineer * *Boston, MA* *6 month contract* *Rate: $45/HR* Provide planning, design, implementation and operational support. Perform requirements analysis and develop hardware/software solutions to provide telecommunications solutions to meet business requirements. Coordinate and review the installation of hardware and implementation of software and leverage data management and monitoring tools. May prepare and maintain operating procedures and associated documentation. Serve as senior technical resource to resolve problem escalations. May be responsible for establishing project plans, budgets, schedules, and documentation of work results. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Ensure guidelines and standards are followed • Plan and design complex global data network infrastructures • Stay abreast of current technologies and make recommendations based on knowledge and research • Interface with Global carriers to develop, implement and troubleshoot data network solutions • Identify process inefficiencies and develop new policies and procedures if necessary • Collaborate with Command Center resources and other network engineering groups • Focus on teamwork and readily share information with others • Actively seek customer input, and take responsibility for customer situations if necessary SKILLS • Knowledge with appropriate networks, products and protocols (Cisco Networking) • Strong technical aptitude • Problem solving skills • Interpersonal skills • Communication skills • Knowledge of job associated database/software/documentation • Mentoring/Coaching skills *Candidates must have experience with Cisco ASA SSL VPN technologies.
