*Overview:*
*This resource will **Lead Data Quality/ETL testing efforts in accordance to
a common test approach for ETL and data integration engagements.** *The Q/A
lead must have 5-7yrs experience in distinct ETL Development and Quality
Assurance Testing within a complex Data warehousing system. **
*Requirements:*
1. Must have 5-7+ years experience testing ETL based data integration
project including:
a. Design and implement test strategies and plans in compliance with
the established test approach
i. Utilize and
coordinate Data Integration Development resources outside of QA for the
successful execution of data integration testing efforts and defect
resolution
ii. Analyze business
requirements and incident reports for testability
iii. Develop Quality
Assurance test plans that clearly map to and account for defined business
and data requirements
iv. Establish and execute
test strategies and plans in accordance with a common testing approach
b. Perform all types of testing including functional testing (black
box), back-end database testing (white box), data integration testing and
system testing
c. Plan, coordinate and schedule test coverage to provide high value
during the product release process
d. Deliver testing assignments within the established commitments,
ensuring quality, performance and conformance with established
specifications.
2. Package work and transition to an offshore team including:
a. Coordinate the workload of offshore resources to ensure on-time
delivery
*3. **Perform testing using Ab Initio, Unix and SQL tools** *
4. *MUST HAVE A LAPTOP*
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and
effective communicator
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of
this project.
