*Position: QA Automated Test Engineer (ONLY CITIZEN OR Green Card Holders)*
*Location: Buffalo, NY* *Duration: 6+ Months* · A strong demonstrable knowledge of Visual Basic script, test automation frame works and Quick Test Professional is required. · A qualifying candidate for this role would have a clear understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and the Waterfall Methodology. · In addition this individual will be able to demonstrate strong design, architecture, development and debugging skills. In addition: · Identify and provide opportunities for the continual improvement of the automation testing productivity, process and application. · Develop automated test plans/scripts; coordinate completion of testing. · Schedule/facilitate automation project meetings/publish meeting minutes/track impact/issue documents. Though this role primarily consists of test automation activities and responsibilities, as a member of the Organizations Process improvement team additional responsibilities will include the following: · Ensure adherence to all current project methodology standards/procedures, including all documentation requirements. · Complete status reports; present project milestone deliverables to management. · Recognize technical/business/operational impacts of a project. Bring issues to resolution/escalate issues or concerns to Project Sponsor.
