Job Description:* Design and populate dimensional model (star and snowflake schema) for a data warehouse and data marts Create source to target mapping Documents Prepare detailed design documents Design Templates for the Parallel Jobs and Sequencers Develop various jobs using ODBC, Hashed file, Aggregator and Sequential file stages Import data from flat files, transform and place in target databases Developed SQL scripts for data dump in various databases Build Datastage jobs to FTP the data file for loading into various databases Use DataStage Director and the runtime engine to schedule running the jobs, monitoring, scheduling and validating its components Create templates for job parameters to be used throughout the project and be responsible for maintaining and updating the parameters Develop job sequences to run jobs in parallel and in series taking into consideration the interdependencies Assist the organization in performing data compiling, mining and analysis required to evaluate the given data Provide flexible resources to users as per the business requirements by exporting Universe and BO reports. Perform code review for the jobs build and prepared the Unit testing Document for future review.
