Troubleshoot performance and functional problems on development, testing and production environments. Drive database design from business and functional requirements. Write technical specifications and support documentation. *Requirements:* · Expert SQL Server developer with 8+ years experience including relational database design; DDL; TSQL; stored procedures; partitioning and performance tuning. · Experienced working with large databases (~800GB). Proven track record of producing high-performance databases via tuning and optimisation. · General understanding of the finance markets and financial products. · Excellent understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle including both waterfall and iterative methodologies.
