*UNIX shell scripting. *
*SQL-writing sql statements/commands/code*
*ETL Testing *

This resource will be testing within a BI/Data warehouse project and should
be comfortable with leading a complex testing effort within a Taradata
warehouse environment. This person may be leading a team of testers or
will be managing the effort themselves…that is TBD at the moment. ****
** **
Taradata, OBIEE, Datastage and any PCM tool experience would be valuable
experience to have (all not necessary, but the more experience in these
areas the more valuable) ****
** **
The ideal person in the lead testing/validation role will (1) develop the
testing approach and (2) execute on it with key specific responsibilities
such as:****

Tables/Views:****
o Review/Confirm table setups and DDL requirements met in Teradata.****
o Validation of join criteria between tables.****
ETLs:****
o Validate ETL loading of staging tables included net change processing.**

o Review Datastage code sequences with developer to validate approaches.**
**
o Unit Test Business Rules for intended impact and validate data results
against current production results.****
o System test integrated batches.****
PCM Tool/Essbase****
o Test PCM interfaces & loads.****
o Validate allocation results against expected results or current
production data.****
o Validate Essbase loads, scripts, outlines, etc.****
OBIEE/FR reports:****
o Validate requirements are met.****
**· **Provide feedback on ease of use, navigation, drill, etc. and
refinement of reports.****
*Individual should have DW/BI experience, testing methodology/knowledge,
accounting/analytical background.*
