Position Data Analyst with SAS Base & SQL Located in Chicago, IL Contract until at least 11/1/12 This position is responsible for working on multiple project tasks in support of the design, implementation, and maintenance of analytic solutions; supporting end-to-end analysis development, management, and delivery; interfacing between various business and technical teams to compile requirements and design solutions; providing technical leadership to the team; work closely with customers to build relationships; and continuously gaining a deeper understanding of relevant data and processes to build analytic solutions to meet business needs. *Required Skills* - Bachelor's degree plus 2 or more years of relevant work experience - SAS BASE experience - Strong SQL skills including experience creating complex SQL queries - Clear English communication skills - Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision - Experience creating data requirements and clear, complete project documentation *Preferred Skills* - MS or higher degree - Experience with HCSC data and Teradata environment a plus but not required - Knowledge of healthcare claims data or related data experience (e.g., experience with CPT, NDC, and ICD codes) - Insurance Industry experience or equivalent - Actuarial and/or statistical knowledge and experience - SAS programming skills including familiarity with array statements, do loops, macro language and SAS SQL *Thanks & Best regards* RANI| Recruiter|Oberon IT 1300 W.
