He/she must have experience as stated below. The candidate should have strong background in Complex Report writing, Data Warehouse, and reporting. *Working exp with Cognos 10 is must *** The Cognos Designer/developer is responsible for Cognos applications designs that address business requirements, and ensuring the application is developed according to those designs. The Cognos Designer/developer must be able to design, analyze, develop, code, test, debug Cognos designs and develop reports and to communicate and guide BI developers to ensure delivery of Cognos applications within specifications. Requirements: · *7 + years of IT experience, 6 years BI experience and at least 4 years of experience with Cognos* · *Cognos 8 10 Query Studio, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Metric Studio, Cognos Connection and Framework Manager* · Strong experience creating dashboards, metrics manager, and data modeling with Cognos Framework. Must be full life cycle, gathering client requirements and developing the reports. · Excellent communications, presentation skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organization on a regular basis · Takes direction well but must work independently, Team player, strong attention to detail, good interpersonal skills · *Client facing role.
