* * *Title:* Development Operations Engineer *Location:* Oakbrook Terrace, IL *Employment Terms:* 1 year contract Responsible for the support and deployment of software packages across multiple environments for our website, support our website infrastructure and develop tools to enhance it. Including on-call duties as well as off-time upgrades and maintenance. Must have ability to think quickly and respond diligently to on and off-duty alerts/issues. *Responsibilities: * · Using automation tools to monitor, deploy and troubleshoot website performance issues · Build out Adobe CQ5 environments in hosted infrastructure · On-call 24x7 phone support. Level 2-3 support · Manage application-level monitors for website and middle tier services · Respond to sitescope alerts and other system monitoring tools · Monitor transactional vital statistics and application response times · Troubleshoot origin of errors, website, app servers, network, database · Troubleshoot prod and QA environments encompassing: · IIS configurations (IIS 6.0/7.0/7.5) · application configurations (.Net Framework) · file/directory permissions · performance counter monitoring and analysis · Network Load Balancing, Firewall, DNS, and server routing · Troubleshoot application errors/issues and closely work with development-team, DBAs, Network Team on resolving those issues · Partner with developers and QA and cross team to co-ordinate CQ5 deployments to QA, staging and production · Collect data and metrics from database, application server, web server, and CDN in a clear way as to do further analysis * * *EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:* · Must have 4-5 years’ experience in an Operations role with past systems administration or developer experience · Adobe CQ5 platform install / admin experience –installation/monitoring/deployment of content and code to dispatcher, publisher and author · Java programming experience or basic Java language understanding (i.e. can read stack trace in log file) · Java based application server install, configuration and administration experience, i.e. JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere, Tomcat · Experience with Java / other web app performance monitoring and / or log analysis · Application build / CI (preferably Maven, Ant) · Hands-on experience on web app system configuration and resource tuning · Experience in deploying software packages in both VM and physical boxes using automated CM tools (Anthill Pro, SVN, Cruise Control) · 1-2 years Power shell scripting and batch scripting experience a plus (Shell, Perl experience can also act as equivalent) · General SQL knowledge needed · BA/BS in CS, IT or other scientific/linguistic fields or equivalent development experience · Experience with Agile Methodology - Experience with ANTHILL pro a plus - *Strong* analytical and troubleshooting skills needed - Strong communication and documentation skills needed *Thanks & Best regards* RANI| Recruiter|Oberon IT 1300 W.
