* Candidates will be required to pass an
extensive background check since they will be accessing highly sensitive

* Duties, Activities, Responsibilities and Competencies**:*
· *Work in a team environment supporting operational issues and
project work for the business application environment.*
· *Perform operating system setup, administration and
troubleshooting focusing primarily on Red Hat Linux and HP-UX, but provide
general secondary support for Windows OS environments in addition to
performing storage provisioning, zoning and troubleshooting of the
storage/SAN environment as required*
· *Work with project teams on both internal and external IT
projects supporting the business requirements. This includes design and
delivery of infrastructure solutions where appropriate.*
· *Development and improvement of process and procedures supporting
the systems administration team, including process automation where
appropriate.*
· *Must be self motivated, customer focused and a team player and
have proven problem solving skills.*
· *Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
*
· *Must be able to achieve and maintain the required NERC-CIP,
Nuclear Data Access, and other corporate or departmental certifications,
training, and/or clearances needed to have appropriate accesses to the
environment*
· *On-call support 24x7 as required*
Required Technical Qualifications (Listed in priority order):
· *Technical knowledge and experience with primarily Red Hat Linux
and HP-UX but secondary basic skills with Windows OS environments and
hardware is preferred.*
· *Experience with IBM XiV, IBM San Volume Controller (SVC), EMC
Symmetrix & Clariion storage frames, EMC ControlCenter (ECC) and IBM
Storewize 7000 storage units*
· *General knowledge and experience with VMWare ESX, Microsoft
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Symantec*
· *Ability to write and troubleshoot UNIX and Linux operating
system scripts and Windows batch files and PowerShell to automate tasks
where required*
