Position: PeopleSoft SQR Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (locals only...possible F2F after phone first)
Duration: 3 Months +
Rate: 58/hr
Resource Responsibility:
The resource(s) will be work within the Information Technology (IT)
department to design, develop, and test SQR interfaces. They will work
closely with the functional business owners and other technical resources to
produce reliable interfaces and batch processes under aggressive timelines.
Key Tasks:
. Perform "data mapping" between vendor's requested field
structure and what is available/used in our PeopleSoft installation.
. Translate high-level business requirements into
fully-functional programs.
. Use AppDesigner to create tables necessary to support
functionality (temp/staging tables, etc.)
. Develop SQR batch programs to extract PeopleSoft data into
flat (CSV) files
. Develop SQR batch programs to read, parse, validate, and load
files into PeopleSoft
. Develop reports to identify anomalous or potentially incorrect
data
. Research, troubleshoot, and resolve issues resulting from
development errors or changes in requirements
. Work with the business team to execute and/or prepare test
cases
. Assist with project administration (status reports, change
control, issue logs, etc.)
. Work with the project manager, providing input on timelines,
milestones, and project duration
Resource skill set and experience:
. Five (5) years experience developing PeopleSoft interfaces
with SQR
. Five (5) years experience with PeopleSoft's core HR module and
PeopleTools foundation tables on HCM 8.9 and/or greater
. Must be sufficiently familiar with PeopleSoft functionality
and the SQR programming language to suggest and address outlying test cases
. Must have experience working with large, complex clients (over
10,000 employees, unions, etc.)
. Must have experience integrating with 3rd party applications,
preferably talent acquisition (recruiting) providers.
. Experience with PeopleSoft's Talent Acquisition Module
("TAM")/eRecruit, Taleo, or other recruiting software packages is a plus.
. Public Sector experience a plus, please provide details.
